JnJ2009 Final Show of the Season
For various reasons, I just do not do many shows this year. That’s a bit sad but necessary. However, I was invited back to the Johnson & Johnson’s Ortho United Way campaign this year Clinical show. As usual, I’m super happy because I can meet and chat (albeit briefly) with all women (and men this year, too!). They have several locations outside the office and this year I added a second location outside the local office in one of the Kodak building.

First and foremost, THANK YOU to all women and men remarkable I have met and Crystal Allure of buying jewelry. A special thanks to my return customers too! Instead of support and interest in craft that encourages my desire to create beautiful jewelry for you. And without doubt, thanks to Holly to pull all this together and inviting me back for this years’ campaign.

What was interesting this year is that I have a few people ask me about the pieces, stones are used, etc. and they really listen. Make no mistake, but come on lady, we all know how men can tune us out when we talk. Although in fairness we tend to babble sometimes or just talk out loud for talking. Maybe? Think? * Smiles *

This year, I changed into my desk looks like a simple decor and new. I like to modify the table every two years or more and the new setup was perfect for the fall.

The program was so successful that I have gathered again and pump out some new designs because I was one of the first Kodak building (this is a new location for me this year) and the ladies cleaned me out! I was living with the belief that any particular woman’s belongings and is clearly on the first show because there are three in particular necklace purchased by a woman who is perfect for them. I hope you enjoy the woman is bead jewelry new you!

In the second event, which was the main location (Canal Ponds), I took out some of my “special jewels” design for all the fantastic women there. Keeping this special savings account is my way of thanking the women for their support and offer pieces that no one else to see yet. In the end, my table had been cleared out, except a few pieces. I even have a shopper’s comment (that I’m clean). But, I consider that a good thing and on this special occasion, every purchase helps the United Way as well.

You know how there are ‘reformed smoker’, you know that … they are soooo anti-smoking (and they used to smoke)?! I consider myself a ‘reform of the consumer’. Since I started designing jewelry, I just can not and will not buy products that are mass produced (any kind) if I knew I could get locally and more importantly by local artists. I found the quality much, much better and I really invest in something that not just buy it. This is another reason why I like doing this activity. This gives the opportunity to buy goods made by hand, from local artists-purchase support local economies and help the United Way. All this from one event. Fantastic!

Usually at the end of this event that I was inspired to create a host of new designs …. and if they do not sell before the next event, I promised in the year 2010, if invited back, that design will become more powerful than ever!
